Drennan Refrigeration has an immediate opening for an enthusiastic and well-organized person to join our team as an Account Manager, focusing on Drennan’s relationship with clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing industrial refrigeration sales support to our London and area clients, as well as developing relationships with new clients.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Strengthen existing relationships within our client base, relationships which include operating engineers, facility managers, plant engineers, plant managers, etc
  • Seek out new relationships with clients, liaise with Drennan’s head office and clients to efficiently solve client’s needs
  • Develop, evaluate, and discuss technical solutions with clients
  • Complete material take-offs, equipment selections and pricing as necessary to develop cost estimates
  • Prepare and present proposals/quotations to clients, working towards closing the sale
  • Conduct all activities in accordance to Drennan Refrigeration company policy, and with respect to safety and the environment

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems
  • Formal technical education and training (C.E.T, C.Tech, etc)
  • Three or more years of industry related experience
  • Willingness to travel, within our operating territory as needed
  • Excellent communication, organizational and writing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel, outlook, etc.

Service Coordinator

Job Type: Full Time

Job Location: London, Ontario

Drennan Refrigeration is looking for a Service Coordinator (Industrial Refrigeration) for our London office. The successful candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a similar role. They will also have experience answering service calls, coordinating man power, material and equipment as the customer needs. The candidate will work closely with the service manager to ensure that all work is scheduled and completed on time. They will also assist with staff compliance to all company and safety policies.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Coordination of Industrial Refrigeration service jobs
  • Accept incoming customer calls and inquiries
  • Create service orders and input them into company computer system
  • Dispatch mechanics and maintain their schedules
  • Review customer service reports and timesheets, for quality control purposes
  • Liaise with parts suppliers, sales, billing, warranty, and engineering department
  • Coordination of parts supply and delivery
  • Assist in maintaining warehouse inventory
  • Conduct all activities in accordance to Drennan Refrigeration company policy, and with respect to safety and the environment

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education preferred
  • 2+ years experience in a similar position
  • Strong organizational, planning and writing skills
  • Experience working in dispatch/service/customer service is an asset
  • Ability to deal with sensitive/confidential issues successfully and professionally

Jr. Project Engineer

Drennan Refrigeration has an immediate opening for a project engineer to join our engineering team, in our London office. The candidate would begin being trained and oriented on our industrial refrigeration projects, as well as assists senior engineers. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work towards independent project engineering and project management. Registration as an Engineer in Training, and eventual Professional Engineering designation would be expected.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Contribute to capital projects as a Project Engineer among our team of other project engineers, and eventually independently contribute as a Project Engineer
  • Review, analyze and assist in system designs for industrial and recreational refrigeration projects
  • Ensure refrigeration system design is safe and will operate efficiently
  • Review and refine equipment and material selections
  • Coordinate and liaise with outside parties, customers, consultants, suppliers, etc.
  • Meet with engineering team regularly to discuss on-going projects
  • Learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Prepare and issue construction drawings and system design schematics
  • Provide sequence of operations to team members, as well as utilize project scheduling skills

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

  • Graduate of an Accredited Institution having a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with a thermodynamics background
  • Knowledge of refrigeration system designs, preferably systems using ammonia
  • Strong organizational, planning and writing skills
  • Willingness to travel to visit projects semi-frequently
  • Experience using CAD software, such as AutoCAD is expected
  • Experience using 3D design software, such as Revit is an asset
  • Knowledge of construction techniques and best practices is an asset

Refrigeration Mechanic

Job Type: Full Time

Job Location: London, Ontario

We have an immediate opening for an Industrial Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position reporting to our Service Manager out of our London ON office.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance within our customer base
  • Start-up & Commissioning on our industrial installations
  • Able to work on a team basis or individually from a remote location
  • Participate in our health & safety program
  • Be able to work on our 24-hr call rotation throughout the entire year
  • Good communication skills with our customers and managing office

 

Qualifications & Knowledge

  • Industrial experience with ammonia refrigeration service and start-up
  • Journeyman Refrigeration Licence
  • Valid Ontario G class driver’s licence
  • Strong electrical and controls troubleshooting an asset
  • Freon experience an asset
  • UA 787 member
  • Gas Fitter licence an asset
